Listened to both today and strongly preferred Khemmis. High on Fire was not my cup of tea.

The tracks I streamed from Khemmis feels like a classic heavy metal record, made me think a bit about my high school period blasting Nightfall in Middle Earth from Blind Guardian. I like it.
I've never been more upset about not attending something I didn't even know existed prior to a minute ago.
I made a “Sesame Street Mixtape” in college that had a bunch of early Opeth stuff on it along with Mercury Rev songs (because their singer sounds like Big Bird). I wish I still had it now

I think it’s Khemmis because I swear it was stated that this would be a metal album that could cater to a wider audience.
I’d think Matt Pike’s vocals would turn a majority off from High On Fire.
