Cancellation sometime next week talk is unfortunately getting louder
Yeah, Manfred shaking his finger at the players warning that if they don’t take the new rules more seriously they “may” have to cancel the season would be funny if it were so ridiculous. Maybe if the league actually came up with guidelines and protocols instead of just winging it they could get a lid on things. The players are to blame obviously, but the MLB is responsible for these outbreaks too.

So I don't remember if I brought this up before but am I the only nerd who loves to score baseball games? Hadn't done it yet this season and since today was a lazy Sunday, I printed out a scoresheet and did it for the Rangers/Giants game. And the Rangers actually won a game comfortably.

I love scoring games. Unfortunately with a 7 year old and a 3 year old sitting down and watching a full game with enough attention to score it just isn't happening. I used to do it a lot when I lived an apartment where i was blacked out from Phillies games and the internet sucked so I couldn't do MLB TV so I would listen to gsmes.

Really Cardinals player! You’re gonna go to Casino? Those aren’t the cleanest places in normal time LET ALONE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PAN-FUCKING-DEMIC!!!

For the record, Hollywood Casino Amphitheater isn't a casino.

"Some Cardinals players attend an outdoor drive-in social distant Nelly concert at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater"

At the time, outings like this were allowed per MLB.

That's why you don't say offensive homophobic garbage on a hot mic 5 seconds to air. Dumb fuck.

Honestly I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often. 20 years in the sports tv business in the control room and as an audio op and a LOT of on air talent are WAY too lax with what they say, and how close to their mics going hot, they say it. The general rule is if you are wearing a mic, don't say anything that you wouldn't want the entire world to hear, whether you think you're in break or have the cough button pushed or not.
