June 2019 Vinyl Challenge

Day 19 - Repeater
Play an album you never tire of hearing
Play an album you never tire of hearing

Probably a cliche, but this is my most listened album on Spotify, my boyfriend lives exactly 39 minutes away from me and I can basically time my drive home to this album if there's no traffic:

Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea

Day 17: Really good live show.

They are the last band I saw live - 10 years ago last week - my ears just can't take it anymore..and I can't do earplugs.

Saturday, 6/13/2009 @ Berbati's Pan, Portland - Arc Welder opened and was pretty good, too.

Twink - Think Pink

I haven't really worked since January so I'm trying to go light on buying records. But that all went out the window for RSD. I didnt even hear about this before that day but my gut told me i needed to own it

I just got this one last week...never saw it locally and then forgot about it. Glad I picked it up.

Day 18 - National Splurge Day

I don't think I've ever spent over $100 on a single record, as I just can't justify spending that much on one release. This one was a bit over my usual max of around $50, but it is a more sentimental value as it was my first CD I owned...before I had a CD player to play it on.

Various ‎– Pump Up The Volume (Music From The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
MCA Records ‎– MCA-8039, 1990

I totally feel you on going to live shows these days. They wreck me physically. My ears & whole body hurt the next day and it isn’t heavy drinking that causes it.

When I first saw your post, I saw the top pic before reading the whole thing & I thought you had posted a pic of yourself & I was all “God he looks exactly like Steve Albini”
