I was hoping that is was my Sketches of Spain One Step that I ordered about eight and a half years ago. I can't find it on MoFI's site anymore so I assume that its been canceled.

I'd get a hell of a lot more value out of that than if I gave $15 to the Groove Guy.

I have Sketches of Spain ordered. Considered canceling it (not because of the digital issue but because of the blatant deceptive practices) but it is one of my favorite albums so I decided to keep it.

Once again I have to question why I read this thread. I am literally boxing up my records ( and soon turntable) in preparation for a big home rehab and almost every time I read this thread I seem to order something.

Update: thriller sounds great. This was a nostalgia buy for me and it takes me back to the days when records were still a thing but music videos were taking over. It’s graded at a vg+ but I’d give it an ex.

I know. Once I had a record arrive with a big crack in it while it was outside. Not sure what caused it and my rational mind says that it wouldn’t have made a difference but I keep think that that little extra protection may have helped.

Understood. I was just talking about how quick the whole thing was. I ordered on Tuesday and less than 72 hours later I had four records shipped from Japan on my front porch. I'm very impressed.

And… it’s delivered. I have to wait until I get home to find out if everything is as it should be but this shipping is faster than music direct, which is about a mile from my house. Speaking of music direct, where is my copy of kind of blue anyway?

I feel like this is a mistake, but I ordered from Record City on the 24th and their out for delivery right now. The tracking info shows it in Japan on the 26th, in Indy early on the 27th, in Chicago later that day and out for delivery today.

I just ordered Led Zepplin II and IV. I'll report back when I get them. They are already in transit which is impressive.
