    Vinyl Me Please Anthology

I pitched this to a couple deadhead friends and they seemed to think this was a good deal. Looking at Discogs, I don't see any reason to pick this up.

Vinyl Me Pauly (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

My actual point was that at the completion of a year of service, VMP no longer serves me. Perhaps a point of discussion regarding others length of membership, how thing have changed, estimates of value. Perhaps others have a suggestion for another club, another venue for acquiring vinyl, or as...

Vinyl Me Pauly (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

I just got my Feb. RotM and cancelled my 1 year account with VMP. The end of 2019 was pretty unacceptable. I wish them luck and will likely check back in 6 months from now.

Might have already been suggested, and unlikely considering Rhymesayers regularly presses their own vinyl but.

Equipment Recommendations - The Home For New System and Upgrade Advice

$500 total budget. I actually need a 5.1 setup and while I've been impressed with Onkyo in the past, the 2 channel you recommend won't cut it. I'll look into the other tables that were recommended. I think having the preamp in table or receiver will work best but I'll have to find one that's clean.

Equipment Recommendations - The Home For New System and Upgrade Advice

A Sherwood RD6105 https://www.cnet.com/products/sherwood-rd-6105/ Budget is ideally under $500. I could always put the remainder into accessories or towards a new amp. I'm just not sure of the need or usefulness of Technics 1200 for comparison.

Equipment Recommendations - The Home For New System and Upgrade Advice

Audio Technica 120. AT-LP120-USB Direct-drive Professional Turntable (USB & Analog) with AT95E Cartridge I'm considering this as my first turntable. I don't know anything about preamps. I don't know anything about upgrading cartridges. Any advice would be appreciated.

Are these the same versions that are being used by streaming services (likely compressed further for bandwidth)?

The 2016 Picture Disc of ATLiens seems too recent to spit out another. Aquemini would be fine but is also readily available. I'm in the camp that feels the only 2 places to go for a classic album this decade are Kanye and Kendrick.

There's been some discussion about these being upgraded digital masters being put out at 24 bit, 96kHz. Anyone have any ideas. The spotify streams sound great compared to whatever rips off youtube. Maybe more compression?

Vinyl Me Please Rap & Hip Hop

Got the 1 year Sub. back in March. Have only Subbed twice. This time it's for Doggystyle. Lackluster release for what this club sold me on originally. So I went out and got that Fiona Apple release that actually introduced me to VMP in the first place. It is better than I could have hoped for.

    Hip Hop

Saul Williams making moves. Watch it in the Youtube App and he also dropped a mixtape to his Kickstarter backers. If you can get your hands on the mixtape it's really good. Hopefully a good indication on what's to come shortly in the way of a proper album.

Fresh back from Soundset. Greatest act I saw was Epic Beard Men. Highly recommend.
