Vinyl Me Please Country

I would have considered it for Cash if I knew what the next two months of essentials were (no way hanging around for Country).

But i don’t know that, can’t gamble on the them and the phrase that’s scarier than the Exorcist: “Listening Notes by Andrew Winnistorfer.

“Listening Notes by Andrew Winnistorfer." Ugh, not a selling point.

The Ryan Smith mastering will sound great. May need to bust my '68 copy out tonight to see if I feel the urge to get a newer version. Would have definitely been in for AAA/Mono.

That's a great first 3 month lineup. Hope Shotgun Willie at least is AAA. I wonder if the Folsom Prison tapes are kaput, or at least if Columbia won't let anyone touch them....seeing as how there hasn't been a AAA reissue since 1970 in the US
Paulie said that Shotgun Willie will be AAA on reddit.

I wonder had they planned on Willie being first originally (the bandana and Shotgun Willie playing in the advert) but decided to go with the more populist album later on. Regardless these are 3 great picks. And Willie and Cash done already. I suppose they have 1000000 duet/collaborative albums to also choose from later though.

This is fun. Totally a country noob, will happily scoop this Cash up, now I'm listening to Shotgun Willie and heyyyyyyy, this ain't so bad. Only other Country record I've wanted to own on vinyl is Marty Robbins "Gunfighter Ballads", maybe we'll get a reissue via VMP's new country track some times.
