Vinyl Me Please Country

It seems to be a track. They are saying that you cannot swap a track for it, but you can do it as an add-on track. I guess you could sign up for a 1 month deal but you're lookin at $43+ tax now which is kinda mental. I might see if someone can do it as an add-on for me.
Yeah no bueno:(

can anyone help out by adding it on as an additional to help a non vmp member out ?😂

What´s the word on the 2015 Legacy 2 LP repress. That seems widely available for cheap
Remastered by Vic Anansi, so likely digital remastered. Pressed at Record Industry.

I'm betting on Mono, Ryan Smith @ Sterling, AAA, Tip-on jacket, colored vinyl, some kind of listening notes booklet, plated at QRP, pressed at GZ.

So, basically everything will be better with the VMP version, except pressing location. So provided you're not in the unlucky 20% who get a warped, noisy, or no-fill copy, the VMP will be the definitive version.

Well, unless you prefer the one that has your grandfather's CC & Coke stains and handwritten Cribbage scores on the back cover.

yeah, I'll keep my OP of Folsom Prison for that and spend my money elsewhere...
I am leaning this way as well, my OG was an amazing find condition wise. Both the sleeve and wax were near mint condition and the original pressings came in tip-on sleeves already. For me to even consider the notion, it would have to an AAA Mono pressing. Reminds me of when I purchased a reissue Sweetheart Of The Rodeo a few years ago that Friday Music put out. It was on colored wax and came in a gatefold sleeve pressed at RTI and it sounded great. I still ended up PIFing it since my Original Pressing on black wax with a beat up sleeve sounded just as good and was still the version I chose to listen to more often than not.

It seems like most are convinced that VMP Country will be more along the lines VMP Classics and I hope they are right but it’s also not out of the realm of possibly this sub could end up being for the most part purdy colored pressings (pressed at GZ) of Classic Country LPs. Which is fine but obviously isn’t nearly as exciting.

Decided to dig out the At Folsom Prison box set from 2018. Its really a killer set and must be the 'definitive' pressing what with all the extras. Although I personally prefer 'Johnny Cash At San Quentin' (it was the first album of his that I heard), this set really does knock it out of the park. Sounds fantastic, contains both shows plus the rehearsal, a comprehensive booklet with photos etc, each LP is housed in a printed sleeve, all wrapped up in a sturdy box. Very good stuff and I recommend it for those that want to dig a bit deeper.
