I'm excited it's jazz! No idea though without more clues what it might be.

Good point! Didn't even think of that. I try not to meddle too much with my VMP account, because, well...you know...VMP.

Just listening to Blossom Dearie. One of the best sounding records VMP has done. Also a great way to come down from a rather crappy day.

I’ll throw out Booker Little- Out Front. Damn good album. Ornette Coleman’s Change of the Century turns 60 and could use a nice audiophile reissue too.

Well, that's a solid clue. So the "1" doesn't mean 1st album unless his was the first and last?

I assume it means solo artist where the 3 for RHH means a group with 3 people in it.

We know the artist isn't living, and that they aren't a group and this is the last album released during their life. ADA too, so probably something where the master tapes aren't available or are in a bad condition that needs digital remastering.
