Monsters. Both of them. Those are some cute poop machines.
What happened to your BN box? Did ya buy it direct from VMP?
TBF, their Tribe box is probably their most fairly priced boxes they have featured.Even if I had 50/50 odds to win the damn golden ticket I wouldn’t see it as a worthwhile to buy one of their overpriced boxes.
This is a good selection! My poor man's Dead Anthology showed up today. So a Roctober version of one of these will be in the International PIF thread tomorrow

Probably GZ but it seems people have been having issues with nearly every pressing plant lately.we still dont know where the tribe box is being pressed.. that matters
Apologies for asking as I'm sure it's been discussed already, but if I picked this up, what additional albums would be classed as essential for someone new to the Dead?My poor man's Dead Anthology showed up today. Yeah, Substitute Europe ‘72 or Skull & Roses for Live Dead and those would be my selections. American Beauty and Workingman’s Dead are exceptional albums.Apologies for asking as I'm sure it's been discussed already, but if I picked this up, what additional albums would be classed as essential for someone new to the Dead?
Edit: how about American Beauty, Workingmans Dead and Live Dead to go alongside the Rhino box set...?
Yeah, $35 per is not really getting me excited but hope whoever gets it deems it money well spent!TBF, their Tribe box is probably their most fairly priced boxes they have featured.
I was speaking more in relation to previous boxes and in comparison to what the previous Pure Pleasure reissues currently go for. It’s still by no means a deal.Yeah, $35 per is not really getting me excited but hope whoever gets it deems it money well spent!
Thanks for mentioning, will look into those.Yeah, Substitute Europe ‘72 or Skull & Roses for Live Dead and those would be my selections. American Beauty and Workingman’s Dead are exceptional albums.
Not sure about the Netflix movie but the Amazon Prime Docuseries is top notch. Well worth the 8+ hours. Thanks for mentioning, will look into those.
Have noticed there's a movie on Netflix and a series on Amazon about them too, I'm looking forward to this journey
Watching the Netflix movie now, its more of a telling of events through the eyes of Bob Weir. I'm just 25 minutes in but it seems good so far!Not sure about the Netflix movie but the Amazon Prime Docuseries is top notch. Well worth the 8+ hours.
