Or just have @Viking Dan hook you upYeah, I contacted Secretly and they asked if I'd wait and see if it made it to me first.

Yeah, I'd love to have it now as I've been on a super Dinosaur Jr kick, but I can wait. I have another coming that I ordered a while back that was going to the old address, and it's been a month and a half from the UK. Hoping that gets here too. Pre-orders and moving are a pain in the butt.Or just have @Viking Dan hook you up
Viking Dan is a notoriously good Landlord, I can't imagine he'd raise your rent.Is that why my rent went up???
I got a 2nd Female Species last month too.Or just have @Viking Dan hook you up
I have not...now I'm feeling judged. No judgment either way but did you reach out to secretly to let them know and if so did they say to just keep?
no judgement for sure! I honestly was just hoping you were going to say they told you to keep it because I can't be hassled to go to a post officeI have not...now I'm feeling judged.
I guess if I HAVE TO DAD... I will.
Seriously - I typically side with the little guys in the struggle against Corporate America, but in this case maybe it costs the little guy in the long run so its a good idea.
It's also flat. And unfortunately I'm talking about in sound quality. .This new Dinosaur Jr. is heavy. Like weight-wise. I know it’s listed at 180g, but this bad boy is thicc.
Yeah, not the production choices I’d have made. Everything is right on top of each other. It's also flat. And unfortunately I'm talking about in sound quality. .
I'll be interested to stream it on Friday to see if sounds the same.Yeah, not the production choices I’d have made. Everything is right on top of each other.
I was just listening to the single on Spotify and couldn’t get a sense with my crappy speakers in here.I'll be interested to stream it on Friday to see if sounds the same.
Glad I'm not the only one who felt this. Spun this yesterday and was pretty underwhelmed. Feel like it's production choices coupled with pressing maybe? The first track especially is just mud and midrange, and not in a good Dino Jr way to my ear. It got better I thought (maybe I just got higher), and somehow the Lou tracks felt the best!? Anyways, my system ain't high end, but I really was struggling to enjoy the music through the sound :/I’m listening right now and this pressing is underwhelming to me. Sounds muddy and the instruments feel buried. Could be a little brighter so those treble knobs could be handy.
I’m curious if anyone hears it the same or different. Please share
I feel like on the first track the drums are way too low. It sounds like an FM radio concert broadcast.Glad I'm not the only one who felt this. Spun this yesterday and was pretty underwhelmed. Yeah, it doesn’t feel like a pressing issue, but more the production/mastering. I was running it pretty loud and it was clean, just buried. Almost like some of the old Bob Mould albums where he absolutely buries the vox but in reverse. But I don’t think this one pulls it off. It doesn’t come across fuzzy or low-fi, just muddy.Glad I'm not the only one who felt this. Spun this yesterday and was pretty underwhelmed. I said to my wife that I didn’t know how often I would spin it because the sound wasn’t allowing me to enjoy the music. But I felt that the album started to take off with I Ran Away. I’ll probably play it some more now that I’ve let my head accept the flaws and I did enjoy the Lou songs!Glad I'm not the only one who felt this. Spun this yesterday and was pretty underwhelmed.
