Went to my local to grab the Neu! 50! CD box that came out a bit ago and the Panda Bear/Sonic Boom that released today. Couldn't not grab the new Dream Unending when I saw it.

I paid $50 for the CD. The LP box was about $80 more and less music. No brainer for me to get the CDs. I've only listened to the tribute CD and it sounds quite nice.

Round 2 today. 1st Saturday morning I've had off in awhile, so I took a snowy stroll to the rekid store. 2 beautiful original pressings of Ella, and The Beat. Some stains on the ella cover, but beautiful looking records. And the Coltrane, obviously.

I respect and admire your fortitude of will when it comes to your no-buy rest of the year and it seemed a shame to let this pass you by! Took a bit longer to get to you than I expected - I'd been checking the tracking on it more than I typically ever check my own tracking.

Gold Foil Charlie Brown because the embossed cover is too cool!

The Aretha Gold smokes! Not surprised since KPG signed it.

Stapleton is good. Feels like some top end is missing. Maybe it's a GZ digital cut coming out.

The Charlie Brown is good.
Splatter vinyl is a bit noisy.
The mastering is well done for $15. Takes over any vinyl noise for the most part.

The Gravity Falls soundtrack, a record I preordered on Black Friday 2020 has arrived.

I ordered the deluxe edition of the Valerie June book hoping that meant it had a 45(it does), but it also came with a signed bookplate. Which is nicely unexpected.
