Giants have had the best record in baseball for a good portion of the season but I'm still nervous as hell with the Dodgers breathing down our necks and only three healthy starting pitchers!

being a fan; id almost rather see my team not make the playoffs than get in knowing fully well theyre going to lose. i know theres a chance they do win; but its the inevitable dissapointment knowing the dodgers are out there fully stocked with that ridiculous lineup and pitching.

An NL Central team is gonna make the Wild Card over The Padres because they didn’t have to play the Dodgers and Giants for like a quarter of the their schedule.

The Team that scares me the most (as a White Sox fan) is the Blue Jays. They are firing on all cylinders right now and it seems like the hottest team heading into the post season typically keeps that momentum going.

This is true, but sweeping said Padres in late September to make that run is definitely well deserving of the spot for them.

Oh no doubt. You can only play the teams on the schedule and both STL and Cincinnati improved a bunch during the season. It’s just amazing that even with the expanded playoffs a Pad’s aren’t going to make the post season.

Reds still have a chance. Especially with a couple series left against the Pirates!
Yeah. As great as Shohei is, Vlad would get my vote for MVP
Cards play too many games against the Brewers...they have much better pitching, so the games against them worry me.
If they can just play .500 ball or better the next 2 weeks, they should be able to hold off the other teams.

That would be great! They have a chance for the 1 seed. But I hope they dont. I would rather play the NL East champ vs the likely wild card winner.
