    Fresh Grabs

Fuck, I've been wanting that Lou Donaldson for awhile. Nice grab!

Makes sense. I remember reading an interview as well where he talked about how he's the only one that actually writes his shit during a recording session. Conway and Benny just step in the booth and lay it down off the top. What'd you think of Eminem's verse in that Conway song? While I respect...

I flip flop between the machine and the butcher. WSG is my least fav though and it was further confirmed when he didn’t freestyle on the Sway video I watched. Anyone ever seen him freestyle?

I think that’s the version that I have. You talking about the green and white one? If so, I think it sounds pretty damn good on my setup. Nag Champa is my favorite song on the album and is definitely a top 3 dilla beat for me.

Ivy Sole is badass, love that overgrown album. Got it from VMP when it was ROTM, probably wouldn’t have discovered her otherwise. Backwoods is a nice dope smoking anthem, reminds me of my younger days.

Same here, I love Wet Dirt, Metralleta and Aguardiente. Medallo is gonna take some repeated listens for me. Didn’t feel it instantly like those other 3.

I’m so confused by that album review. Was that actually Krs responding to him? If so, what a total prick stain.

Long Red Hot, Plugs and Wet Dirt are all superb albums. Have you heard Medallo yet?

Most definitely. He's got the personality for it, thats for sure. I think he already has an acting credit too, he was in some horror movie about Pizza, haha.

I was about to post something very similar until I saw this. Completely agree with everything you said. To me, Coloring Book is what started the shift in his music to this more mainstream, cheerful, feature heavy songs. Acid Rap was lighting in a bottle and quite possibly the best mixtape of all...

I take it you disagree? It's an opinion and I just feel like it was a huge letdown. I've been listening to Chance since 2012 and have always supported him. I am just not feeling the vibe of it at all.

The Big Day is trash. He's charging a lot for the pre-order vinyl as well, probably because its gonna be 3 LPs. I think he should have focused on quality instead of releasing an album that probably could have been pared down to about 10 or 12 songs. 77 minutes is a lot to take in, I was bored...

This has definitely piqued my interest. Gonna have to look into his stuff for sure, good lookin out!

Vinyl Me Please Rap & Hip Hop

This sounds like something I’d definitely be into. Is this instrumental stuff? Isn’t Ohbliv from Richmond as well? It could be something from him as well, I got his new album Give Thanks a few months back and on the hype sticker it had a quote from VMP on it about how Ohbliv carries the dilla...

Vinyl Me Please Rap & Hip Hop

One of my favorite albums ever. It was how I discovered Madlib years ago. You should definitely get yourself a copy.

I am going with Atmosphere Airlines Vol.2 from French producer Dela. I know it’s a obscure guess, but it’s just wishful thinking on my part.

Wow, really? As in the track with chance talking? That’s cruel.

I also saw him reply to someone else saying that Juice definitely won’t be on the vinyl. Someone posted a screenshot on reddit of it. Definitely a huge bummer and definitely hard to justify spending almost $50 for an incomplete album. They should mention this on the buy page for this album, kind...

I haven’t heard any of the songs besides Flat yummy tea yet and I plan to keep it that way until I get the record. I am starting to feel like it was pointless to get both versions. They actually responded to my email just now too: Hey, I totally understand. There was an unforeseen delay...

It definitely said that on the site. I read that description like 10 times trying to figure out what the hell the difference was between the two versions of the record. It said something like “it was pressed back in April”.
