I found out today that 5 of my most expensive records had developed sever warps. No idea on how, as they all have been standing upright in my shelf. Others are fine.. No idea how the f*******! It has happened.. They are all 40 or so years old. I am about to give completey up 😮 😢

I live in Norway, where we get sunlight intru the window during the spring / fall. My records are in a rack at the opppsite side of the room, and now in late march for about 10-20 minutes the sun shines on the spines of the record covers Will this be bad for the 10 - 15 days where the sun sets...

I just bought the Aqualung LP (Steven Wilson mix) LP from 2015. Is this the actual Steven Wilson mix or did Peter Mew master it? Im confused hehe.

Yap. And contrary to belief, distorted s-vocals CAN actually be in the recording. And in this case, it is.

And i managed to get in touch with the guy who mastered theese records: "there are some problematic "s"'s on the New Day master, yes."

Im crawling up the wall now and tearing out hair here. I bought a second copy of a record that had distorted sibilance ( sort of smearing of the s-vocals) which had the exact same issue. Its both at the last track of side 2, and the first / second track of side 1. Funny tho, the other album...
