Newest argument caused by music league--
Are the Gorillaz a Super Group?
I'm in two Music leagues-- and one of them has caused a huge argument in regards to what qualifies as a deep cut. Is it:
A) Basically anything that isn't a single or on the radio or..
B) A song that even fans often overlook
Also-- we should get a N&G Music League going
Holy shit the Foo Fighters are sooo good live. With Ani Difranco and Turnstile also being highlights from day one of Riot Fest.
New Slowdive and Puma Blue are excellent but this is the album that's sky rocketing up my year end list.
No offense to the people who love him, but it occured to me during Bon Iver's set last night: dude sounds like a Muppet who got bored with the Rainbow song and started trying to make Kanye tunes
And I don't like Kanye.
Saturday was a mess of cancelations, rain delays, sound issues and performers who got really drunk while waiting the the weather out, but Pitchfork was still a great time. Favorite sets were Mdou Motor, The Smile, Perfume Genius and Killer Mike. Big Thief, Axel Boman, Charolete Haggerty and Jockstrap were also rock solid. See you next year @ayayrawn & @siremobunny
Facebook just reminded me that this is the 10 year mark of my first record purchase. Little did I know that they would be the main feature of my apartment in 2023. Few regrets about the hobby. But damn do I wish the fucking bubble would burst so I afford to replace some of the records that have worn down over the past decade.

U.S. Girls is fucking phenomenal live. The type of show that turns you from an admirer to a band aid. -
