But being famous doesn’t mean the actual music was good. Just because she is huge doesn’t mean she’s better than the other nominees. If it was about her level of fame then say that but that’s not what I want it to be about

This album was two months old when 2023 started and her biggest song of the year came off of an old album?

Like she dominated the year but that album produced some terrible post Anti Hero singles and she went to deep cuts and vault songs

I didn't say that. I was answering you saying her level of fame wasn't deserved. Her 2023 would disagree with that, greatly. I don't think Midnights was great compared to others but she's not making that music for me. The ones she made for me I connected with better like Folklore and 1989.

But I’m saying her music isn’t good enough to justify how big she was this year. the level of fame should correspond with the quality of music and with her I believe their is a huge disconnect there

Cruel Summer out charted it pretty much everywhere. Is It Over Yet seems to have as well.

Subjectively, those are both good songs and Karma is the worst single she's ever had, but that's obviously just an opinion

Anti Hero was a bonafide smash and great song but it fell off real real fast for me

The real story here is that Taylor kinda gave Celine the cold shoulder when accepting the award. No acknowledgement? This was right after she was singing along to her song. C’mon SIS.

Don’t make this into a gendered thing. I don’t care that she’s a women, my last 8 AOTY winners have all been women. We can bring up the fact that a straight white women has taken deserved wins from LGBT+ artist and men/women of color
