The Grammy Awards Thread

The undercard has been so sporadic tonight it’s hard to tell where the big awards will go. Miley Sza and Taylor all had big wins but they each had big loses so far also (especially Sza). Boygenius did well in their genre field but are untested in the general fields. Olivia, Lana, Jon and Janelle are all empty handed so far and may not change that

I also like how humble she is about her constant success. Like she keeps getting nominated but she doesn’t see herself as the winner so their is a legitimate shock on her face when they call her name

Both for that and Joni. Damn, they're pulling at my heart strings tonight.

Which makes it even more odd that none of the tribute in memoriam performances did it for me at all.

Also really happy to see that Jimbo attended the Grammys with the rest of the 400 Unit even though he's not a member. I know he's been going through some shit so hoping he's in a much better place now.
 
There is a very real argument Midnights was the worst album nominated this year. I wouldn't go that far but there were several better albums up there this year in my book.

Not lost on me another very talented black woman was bypassed
 
I like that Taylor brought Lana up on stage. Pretty awesome for another artist constantly passed over by the Academy.
