Yeah, this is how I felt too. More character driven and that's fine, but felt a little stale and drawn out at times.
 
Watched all of that Amazon show Undone today. Wasn't planning on going through it so quickly, but it's a very short season with short episodes and the way it unfolds just makes you keep wanting to watch. The main criticism I had of the show (which I won't say here) was put to bed by the end. So, yeah, pretty great little season of TV. But I truly don't think it needs another season. Just leaving some stories alone can be good choices too.

Edit: oh also I am not really a fan of this animation style, so sometimes it bugged me. But when they really did some weird and interesting things, it totally worked.
 
I'm currently watching Big Little Lies season 2 with my wife. Since we live in Monterey, it's funny to see all the places we can recognize (one scene happened on the road near my house that I take every day). But it's also funny because the geography is all off, and characters drive over scenic bridges 45 minutes out of town to drive somewhere ten minutes away.

Just saw this after my above post, and just wanted to agree that i hope it's only the one season.

The complete Series appears to be priced at $29.99 on the iTunes store for purchase (From within the app only). The web page shows $139, but when you open it on your phone or from the iTunes application it prices it at $29.99

This is actually really quite an amazing deal. I just picked it up.

I'm not proud of this, but, I watch the trainwreck that is Big Brother every Summer. Tonight was the season 21 finale, and it was one of the most awkwardly satisfying endings to one of these types of shows you can imagine. Coming back from a commercial break, they announce the winner of the $500,000. Just before that break, however, they dragged the finalist who ultimately won for some of his words and actions in the house. Stuff that some of the houseguests (and viewers) felt was offensive (sexist and racist stuff). So the guy is declared the winner, and he looks like he is going to puke. No smiles, and absolutely no joy for winning half a million dollars. I actually thought he might just stay in the Big Brother house instead of coming out to the set out front. In terms of gameplay, the guy played a helluva game of Big Brother. That said, it was rather satisfying seeing his big moment dashed. But damn, it was super awkward.

People online are pissed about the way he was treated but I think he deserved it. He was the worst... Played a good game but I'm glad they called him out on his behavior.
