Definitive Audiophile pressings

You don't have to list something as make an offer unless they changed it. I get kinda annoyed when people list as make an offer and then you offer something reasonable (10% off) and they decline it. Just list it at a non-offer price then...

I messaged a guy my buddy has purchased from on discogs about some MoFis he had listed and asked for pictures of the sleeves since they were marked VG (conservatively graded). The guy emailed me pics and chatted back and forth and he ended up giving me a pretty steep discount on two titles. I paid paypal G&S direct to him instead. Worked out for both of us.

I suppose when I meant toggle, I meant in terms of making it more developed in terms of options. Allow for counter offers, allow for sellers to let people make an offer after a reject, allow for contingent offers (I'll buy x and y from your store for $xx) etc. If a seller wants to one-and-done it I'm 100% good with that, I just feel like it'd be better if the option were there for a seller to send a counter offer back or for the seller to decline but to be open to future offers from the same person. Sellers, as you say, aren't required to enable make offer at all (nor should they).

Edit: Of course, if offers aren't open, I just assume the price is set. That seems reasonable.

I on the other hand get really annoyed when people message me to offer on things that don’t have make an offer activated. Some joker got offended last night when I politely declined his offer of 75% of the price of a high value item despite it not being open to offers.
People message me all the time on certain titles that aren't even listed as for sale from me and they offer really insultingly low prices hah. I usually just ignore.

Is there a way of reporting people who do that or making a collection private. That would make me furious.

You can make your collection private, but not sure if you can only let certain people/friends see it. A bunch of my friends all just buy each other records from their want lists for birthdays now so we all have our collections public haha

I'm sure I've missed some of the details, but is it certain these will go live today, or is that (as well as the time) based on speculation given the best available evidence? Just want to know if I can stop watching all of this! :D
just speculation based on their back-in-stock page. it gets updated each week a day or two before they actually go live. they also post some videos on their instagram stories usually the day before the restock to hint at what is coming up. maybe they will eventually standardize it to be at a certain day/time. The last few have either been 1 day or 2 days after the site changes.

Had an audiophile order just come in...

Ted Hawkins has been a life changing discovery for me. Immediately catapulted into my favorite songwriters. A truly special talent.

Any recs on an album to check out? I'm digging the one that @Turbo posted. Streaming it now.
The debut, Watch Your Step is the one, IMO! The Next Hundred Years is amazing, though. It was his major label discovery, finally got his proper due before his death, shortly after.

PS: Craft did a really nice repress of Watch Your Step

Thanks! I'll give it a listen and maybe buy that Craft reissue if I'm digging it!
