Definitive Audiophile pressings

....you really need the MoFi, you really need the Mofi....

..you'll never see it so cheap again.....

😬

edit - I'm sure the spiffy MOV is all you really need

If it was Freewheelin’ i might bite. Probably not worth it, to me, for this album!

Ive a few listed but no bites recently. I think my big sales in January (I had a €75 cogs fees bill that month 😱) were down to people with Christmas money and people bored and locked down! In all seriousness I have a few priorities above this one, the smiffy mastered MOV monos from 2010 really were very good indeed!
The mono box releases ?

Lou Reed - New York is dropping rapidly in price for anybody who was looking for it. Down to $42 on amazon.

Im still following a few U.K. OGs on that one that are still cheaper. Just trying not to buy quite so much vinyl as I had done in January and February! I had 43 records and 1 CD arrive in just those two months!

I wish they had just released a 2xLP without all the CDs and stuff and annoying packaging for $30 and I would have gotten it sooner. It's a great album though.

Yeah it is and I’ll definitely bite on a U.K. OG in time, just maybe not right now! Might actually even end up being next year because January to April tends to be prime back catalogue buying time and then the new releases start to explode!

I agree with this. I don't mind the DVD with it, but these packages that combine CD's and vinyl I don't really understand. It does sound great though, much better than the copy I had.

It's awesome for some people. but just gimme a solid 2LP reissue and a high-res download link and I'm golden! I'm never gonna watch that DVD.

It strikes me that when Boom Boom inevitably.... passes to the great beyond.... that there will be a gaping hole in the market for a top tier young mastering genius. How do I make this my lifes work

Pretty cool trailer for the Floating Points album. Bellers gets name checked so thought it could be worthy of a post in the best thread.

Had an audiophile order just come in...

Ted Hawkins "The Next Hundred Years" (AP)
Duke Pearson "The Phantom" (Tone Poet)
Stevie Ray Vaughan "Texas Flood" (AP 2x45)
Jackie MacLean "It's Time" (Tone Poet)

That Ted Hawkins is so great! Would like to see more of his stuff out. Not much of a compilation guy, but that Suffer No More would be great on vinyl.

Anyone own and have a opinion on the current Specialty (Fantasy?) pressing of Here's Little Richard currently available ?
