I recently preordered an album from a band called Beach Bunny. It's a lofi, indie girl rock kind of band but, kind of dreamy. I was listening to it and then a group called Lunar Vacation popped up. Really kind of dreamy but the lyrics are still really angsty. It's like Alvvays and think of a more poppy Soccer Mommy. Both their EPs are being pressed on vinyl for the first time.

Glad you like it. Mine should be there tonight but won’t get to play it until this weekend. I’ve told the band on Instagram that there were a few people on this board that loved it. Really nice people.

Teodross Avery - After the Rain: A Night for Coltrane (Tompkins Square, 2019)
I have been patiently waiting for this to arrive. It's a fantastic album which acts as a tribute to the legendary sax player, certainly worth picking up (the bandcamp listing has it limited to 500 but this might not take into account other outlets).

Fumio Itabashi Trio - Rise and Shine: Live At the Aketa's (Studio Mule, 2019)
The third release of Fumio Itabashi on the Studio Mule label, easily my favourite artist they have been reissuing. I was so excited when this popped up, the original was on my wantlist since they reissued the first album. This is a live album recorded in 1977 in a Tokyo Jazz Club. I forget which website stated this but there was a comment about the album that read "It sounds like Pharaoh Sanders if he took up playing the piano"........amazing!

I’ve not heard it yet! I’m 200 miles away from my turntable and I’ve run out of mobile data 😟.

I’m away visiting my dad for the weekend so
I left them all in work to pick up on Monday lol. Tbh even if I wanted to my dad hated oasis, never mind the brothers solo haha!
