We can only speculate but I believe Blue Note said originally that TPswouldn’t be limited runs. I’m optimistic they’ll make a return for all the people who weren’t able to jump on them earlier this year.

Yeah, fingers crossed. I seem to recall Sam Rivers and a few others selling out temporarily, only to come back in-stock at all the usual places? Not completely sure about that, however. No doubt pressing plants are still behind schedule as well.

If you're talking about Blue Note, I don't think they'll let you stack coupons on top of the sale.

You don’t think so? The 30% off the Tone Poets is automatically applied and doesn’t require a coupon. They have a section for you to put in a ‘discount code’, so I can imagine one working! I think there’s a 10% off sign-up discount. Anyone know the code for that/can confirm that?

Bought Duke Pearson's The Phantom pretty much only listening to part of the first track. Oh. My. God. This album is great. I love the feeling when you go in blind on a record and it turns out to be great.

Such a groove album. I could listen to that track on repeat all day. The rest of the album isn’t too shabby either. Duke Pearson’s albums under his name are really slept on. He put out so many great ones.

Received this on Saturday and waited till today to play it. Got a pleasant surprise when I opened it. And yeah, I probably should wait for this to be a Blue Note Classics but where's the fun in waiting?

I scored a copy late last year on eBay for a nice price. The seller said there was a slight clicking noise on the first track, but gave it a couple of deep cleans and the problem was gone. Tina Brooks is one of my favourites, but such a sad story to his career.
