Online Vinyl Deals

Be careful with pre orders. Heard rumblings they'll cancel those or they will make it a hassle.

Got my first order in, nothing bonkers but 12ish pe ratio for three annoying to find at retail pieces is very nice
i mostly pre-order and rarely have any major issues besides some times items are delayed but usually they come through unless the release has been cancelled by the label.

I got the Bruce Springsteen Vol 1 box set for $100 shipped. They only had 5 left though. The Dire Straights MoFis are a good deal too.

I grabbed this too- not another 100 i needed to spend but I sold my originals when I first heard these Plangent Process masterings- have had them on digital for years waiting for a time to strike on the vinyl.

Mostly used this sale to shore up the holes in my Pavement and Sleater-Kinney collections

Seconded. Been meaning to get better pressings of these for a long time and no better way to do it. Also added the Dire Straits box and got the Wilco Summerteeth release for free.

I resisted the Target sale last time around but bit today to knock off items that have been sitting on my Amazon “save for later” list for a while... for about $17 each:

Oasis - What’s The Story (Morning Glory)

Iggy & The Stooges - Raw Power (2xLP version with the two different mixes)

Neil Young - Live at the Fillmore East

Went through a lot of the list last night and put a bunch in my cart....went a little overboard but prices are really good on a lot of this stuff so I did the cancelling trick on quite a few...

Ended up grabbing the Bruce vol 1 box set, Blake Mills "Mutable Set" (I believe @TenderLovingKiller® is the one who kept talking about that one and I finally picked it up based on my love of Blake's other albums), Michael Kiwanuka - Love After Hate, Gorillaz Song Machine deluxe, Elliott Smith - self-titled expanded 25th anniversary box, and The Social Network definitive edition OST.

Went with Blakey - Roots & Herbs, Tina Brooks - The Waiting Game, Donald Byrd - Byrd in Flight, Clifford Brown - Study in Brown, and Springsteen vol 1 box (thanks @MikeH!).
I'm amped about that Springsteen box...I have been eyeing it for forever. I do have a bunch of the albums in it already, but most of them are pretty cheap older copies that needed upgrading.

Yeah I didn't even know it existed until I saw your first post about picking it up from the Target sale. Some great albums in there and same, I've got many (maybe all) of them, but what comes with the box should be better. Glad I got in when there were still 2 left!

I saw some folks on here awhile back hyping it up...I think it may have been around when The Magician got released on VMP since I think that one used the Plangent process too. It's mostly hovered around $150 as the cheapest in most places so buying it at $100 was a no brainer for me...especially since now I can probably sell off my older copies/trade them in at my local!

Amazon's Buy 3 for the price of 2 has entered the chat

I like going for the big boys on these sales to save the most money and buy stuff that I may not buy at retail, and I have found that the last 2 times, Target's selection of higher ticket items has been way better. The cancel trick on Target is really nice too and I believe you cannot do that on Amazon's sale!
