I just binged The Expanse... Holy Crap it's so good. It has everything. A ragtag group of reluctant do-gooders, political intrigue, space battles, mystery, space marines with power armour, pirates, redemption stories, love stories, complicated unique characters, Amos... I am so looking forward to season 5.
It’s a good one.

This is one of my favorite shows out there. It's definitely in my top 5 and one of the best scifi shows ever made.

Just watched the first episode of Teenage Bounty Hunters on Netflix.

This show had me laughing hysterically, love it.

These girls kick ass. haha

Lovecraft Country ep2 was some of the craziest weird shit I've watched in a long while. I feel like I just watched an entire movie.

It was a bit to much of a mess for me. Hoping it will be just a touch less insane tonight.

We're on season 2 of Umbrella Academy and I just have to say it's just a great series to watch.

Lovecraft Country episode 3 completely redeemed the show. That was fantastic.

Apparently Benioff & Weiss are going to adapt The Three Body problem for Netflix now. I should get around to reading it.
I still haven't read the second two books, but the first one was mind-bending enough that I honestly don't know how you could possibly give a visual representation of some of the concepts that are introduced. Maybe I just didn't understand it well enough, but the best I can do imagine what it would *look* like is three or four hours of someone saying "geeeeeeooooooooommmmmmeeeeeeeeetryyyyyyyyy" in slow motion.

Edit: or "phyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyssssssssssssiiiiiiiiiiiiiiicsssssssssss?" I don't even know man.

Haha, part of why I haven't read it is the positive reviews on the second two seem a lot more mixed than the first. Did you not enjoy it?

With Rian Johnson producing!

Definitely read the books; they're very good. I like the second one especially (though the translations for 1 and 3 are superior). I don't know how an adaptation is going to work though; characters really aren't the focus so much as the concepts and ideas Liu explores, and there are barely any people who even appear in more than one book. I mean, 2001 barely has any characters so I'm sure you could do it, and I kind of hope they do rather than try to inject more personal stakes.
