The football thread RenegadeMonster is looking for: NFL talk

Interesting tidbits:

KC's superbowl win marked Andy Reid's 222nd career win. On February 2, 2020. Going to his 2nd Super Bowl. This was Patrick Mahomes' 2nd full season as a starter. Patrick Mahomes threw 2 TDs, and 2 INTs.

This involved Mike Shanahan's 2nd Super Bowl loss by double digits. More specifically, his team lost by 2 scores. He opted to leave 2 timeouts unused going into halftime. Jimmy Garoppolo threw 2 INTs. Despite the loss, he has 2 rings [from NE].
Not to mention MC Hammer made an appearance in a Cheetos commercial.

Y'know, from '2 Legit 2 Quit' fame.

See, I comfort myself by assuming if The Bears had taken Mahomes (or Watson for that matter) instead of Mitchy, The Bears woulda ruined his career too.

As a lifelong Niners fan, that was one of the most heartbreaking games I've ever seen. That being said, it was one hell of a season and I feel confident that our team will come back strong next year. Congrats to the Chiefs, a few players aside they are a very likable team and Andy Reid deserves his first ring.

Anyone want to talk about NFL free agency? First sports updates in a week.

Browns look like they are getting Austin Hooper from the falcons

Browns also lost Kirksey to the Packers
Don't know much about Kirksey, but sounds like he has a much better skill set than Blake Martinez (thank god)...but is injury prone which is never a good thing when it comes to the Packers
