You're doing the record thing right. If you have a connection that outweighs the value, keep it. I can't tell you how many records I traded in during my college daze to buy new releases that I repurchased later.

man the plx-1000 table I ordered, while I know was used (it was marked as excellent condition) arrived with a completely shattered cover and missing the power cable/phono cables.

Yeah I’m gunna call the guitar center I bought it from tomorrow. I already bought the parts I’m missing from a wholesaler but I’m hoping they at least refund me $100 for the lid. That thing was expensive to rebuy.

Whoever is delivering for FedEx has now delivered my last three packages to a different address than the one on the packages. No idea why they are struggling to read an address correctly, but it's not even going to another unit in my apartment complex.

They might be. They keep posting delivery pictures at doors that are not mine. And trying to report a missing package to FedEx is impossible. I've tried every way to contact them, chat, email, phone, support ticket. Their automated system refuses to advance my complaint or offer any help. It just hangs up on me or has a circular redirect to a faq that tells you to do what I did which sends you back to the FAQ.

Someone keeps sending records to my house that I didn't order. (I know this sounds like a joke but no it's true).

The first time, I didn't even register in my brain to check the address and I opened it. It was a Grover Washington record which I did not order. Luckily, there was a discogs invoice with the username so I messaged them to let them know I have their record.

I think I've hit my limit with ticket prices. $100 to see Sturgill but having to buy it now for a show in November is just too much when fees are about 25% of the price

I was on the golf course this morning while trying to get pre-sale tix on my phone, and all I could view was two seats for 195 each. I declined those and then it showed no seats available. That's steep.

Realized Riot Fest is not in the cards for me this year after their sudden venue change and mid line-up announcement this morning, so I went to scope out the Sigur Ros show happening that same weekend. Only 3 tickets available starting at $310 before fees. Welp, nvm that too then.

If anyone is traveling to Japan next year(specifically on the dates of July 11-16 in Kyoto) I've got a reservation for a hotel near Kyoto Station that I made in error. I can't either refund it or change the dates so I'm stuck with 6 extra rooms. It's a really nice hotel that I got for cheap and it seems really nice. Your bank can fight policies, those aren't laws, they're nothing more than words. I'd try to get ahead of it now. Have they already charged you? If there's a hold on your credit card or something, they should be able to get it removed (or blocked). My friend had this happen in Germany. He forgot to cancel, and they said he was still on the hook for the $1500. He worked with Chase and got them to back off.

Been using Tidal for a few hrs and already not a big fan. No drag and drop custom ordering for playlists? No cover photos for playlists? I have to scroll through all 400ish playlists, even though most are in folders, when i want to add a song to one?

I’m to the age now where I cannot remember if I have seen certain bands. Did I see Basement Jaxx one year? Maybe? Did I see Franz Ferdinand? I thought I did but the venue didn’t line up with that.
