The Oscar Peterson Trio - Live From Chicago (His Masters Voice Verve Series, 1961 First UK Mono pressing)

This album slaps! Duke Ellington referred to Peterson as the "Maharaja of the keyboard" and I can see why. The speed at which he played is incredible!

He was great. We were lucky enough to see him a few years before he died at the Albert Hall and even though he was old and frail, he still kicked it.

I'd rate this the best Jenny Lewis-fronted album. Still underrated I think, even though Jenny's gotten more famous.
