Isn't that one of them PVC covers? If so, take the record out of there, it will fuck up the record. If not, continue on~

They do it to show off the picture disc / color vinyl despite the negative shit it does to the wax. Causes fogging / bubbling .. hasn't done it to any of mine before I pulled them out but I've seent some nasty bubbling pictures on the innernets.
What did you put them into instead? I need to do this now

I usually just resleeve it entirely and put it in a generic jacket.

As much as I'd love it to be MBDTF, I just can't see them springing for 3 LP (even though it could fit on 2 LP but they'd have to re-cut it).
