Both my copies had distracting noise all over the record. For an album with so many quiet parts, it is completely unacceptable.

Ah yeah, it had some QC problems but once I got a clean copy it was a clear improvement

Feeler: if anyone who is grabbing JUSTICE - Cross somehow ends up with an extra cover (via replacements, etc) - please let me know. I have a copy I like but the cover is split like mad!

Gotta say that Tribe is noice. I like that they got that 45 bump without making it beyond 2 records.
Really came out well. Plus I sold my old RE for like $50 on Discogs so break evenish for the one month membership. Plus used the opp to pick up some old releases I hadn't been a member for (Clipse - Hell Hath No Fury & Badu Mama's Gun).
Now, I'm out again (honestly the month membership may be the least cost effective if you were to stay in but I haven't been w VMP for like a year so..I win?).

Good chance we're in for Interpol - Turn on the Bright Lights and LCD Soundsystem - S/T. But I see that the Walkmen also have a 2002 album.
Walkmen may be a good pick. Are the other two hard to find now? I remember them being easy to grab.

I don't know what they can do with the Interpol. I always heard it was a kind of crappy digital master.

The self-titled LCD could be interesting if the VMP version includes the extra songs.
LCD would be 2005 and Interpol 2002 if those are the "Meet Me in the Bathroom" artists.
I thought BSS were in the documentary or book so I guess it . Otherwise we're ruined by a pretty easy swap season
Maybe, I'm basing it off wikipedia and have no knowledge of the material.
BSS is an actual good pick though. If you didn't jump on the TTL exclusives they're pretty hard to find. My local just got a couple of copies in and that's about it.

I'm assuming Supergrass did not get a mention in Meet Me in the Bathroom ... which VMP clearly believes is the bible for early 2000s rock. Anyway, somebody needs to reissue Life on Other Planets already. Geez.
