They've messed up far too much recently (well, not just recently for me, for several years). So, I don't trust them at all to not mess up SK. AND SK CAN NOT BE MESSED UP!

I think VMP has done a pretty great job with their recent new releases, some of the earlier ones not so much. But I would call the Mitski, Moses Sumney and St. Vincent records all essential listening.

Surprised no one has revived the old Tool rumors, in re: August's new release pick. It would be hitting doorsteps within a couple of weeks of its 8/30 street date, and I'm sure lots of people would go nuts for the possibility of associated exclusives.

I mean they did do an exclusive of the recent TMR reissue of that Caetano Veloso album but yeah idt they will ever get the chance to do any Jack White adjacent projects. He does all that stuff himself it seems.

No I just got the “package is out for delivery!” email just now though. LOL

I never even got a shipping notification for the last box (on the site it still says pending for all of that stuff lol). It was just delivered randomly. My according to informed delivery the label was created on the 5th, but I'm unsure if that is VMP or not.
