I feel the same about both this and the Stooges pick last month. I like both and haven't gotten around to picking them up. I skipped out on Queen though, I knew I'd never spin it.

Are the vocals up front on the original mix of the Stooges as well? Also is We Will Fall proto drone?

Yes and Yes, if i understand your questions correctly. The original mix does not emphasize the drone as much. Cale obviously brought that aspect to the table more than the band did.

I know, right? It really is like an entirely different album for me now. I never liked that song before. Nice after thinking I knew that album a certain way for so long.

Taking into consideration Iggy's revisionist mix of Raw Power, doesn't it seem plain that the band was in its own way a lot of the time? Not everything is better in the red...

I have a nice quality needle drop of the VMP version. I think I will A/B the 2 and build a FrankenStooges version

For the upcoming White Stripes, what is the difference between this and the copies that are widely available?
You're much more likely to get warps, crackle, records bent in half, or an album by a completely different artist with this version.
We actually don't know. It's possible these are the most recent plates from the third man plant opening which were only used to press red vinyl with screen printed covers that were only available at the Detroit location on opening day.
No one has come out and told us that though. Its just a theory I have based on being a massive jack white fan.
Or 20 copies of it

Would love that. I bought the UO white exclusive for self-titled hoping to put it into the XX box but it was a no go.
On the other hand the icky thump box has SO MUCH extra room!

A shipping label was created already for my copy of Bella Donna. Not saying it'll ship anytime soon, but that's way earlier than I've ever got a shipping label notification from them. Considering I just got the Stooges yesterday, I'll consider any delivery within the month of May a win!

Same. I just got shipping notification for my Bella Donna and I got my April Records this past weekend. I have literally never not been end of the queue before so I'm pretty pumped right now (hope it includes all 3 ROTMs).
