Not my cup of tea, and I certainly wouldn't deem it "essential" to my collection. And for context, I really enjoyed her last one - and already have tickets to her show in June.

i like the singers grimey voice and though i'd consider it less punk in the way i classify it (not really fast, not really loud), it is certainly some nice rock n roll
and if my finding it on vinyl means its not there i would probably have bought it on vinyl if the international shipping fee wasn't as much as it is

psych/hard rock vets Ice unearth lost 1970 album for release (stream a track)
The only actual release from Ice during their initial run was a 45 in 1972 (that came out under the name Zukus), but it turns out they had recorded an album in 1970 and it's now finally seeing the light of day...

That’s pretty cool but am I missing something? What ties this to 1968 or 69? And it would be a little silly for VMP to release this a month before a wide release.

I like it quite a bit. It does feel like it fizzles out a bit at the end, and I don’t love it as much as Loner, but it’s a pretty fun listen. Caroline’s humour lands well without seeming like a parody.
