The Taproom (aka Anything and Everything Beer)

In Norfolk/Virginia Beach for work and stopped at 1608 Crafthouse for some great food and local brews. Definitely recommended if you're in the area.

I had Teredo, a sour from Reaver Beach, and Raspberry Empress, a sour from Crooked Run and both were fantastic!

It's a sour night I guess. This one is a from a local brewery (Wild Mind) in Mpls. Their Forgotten Barrel Society is limited to 300 people and they do 10 different releases, all barrel aged. They tend to be sours like this one, usually aged at least a year. I'm hoping for a stout at some point. This one is pretty good, although I'd prefer it a bit more fruit forward.

I have more beer than I can keep track of I guess. There are recesses of my beer fridge I've not seen in over a year.

The beer was really good. If you know it reasonably well, I'd say the years only added slightly more acidity, which was a pleasant relief. I'm terrible at beer descriptors, so please know that it was real nummers.
