Yeah the single is really solid. I’m not getting the box but may pick up the vinyl later on. I don’t have any of his records in my collection but he has some great ones on Atlantic and ECM that I’ve checked out.

It arrived!Have been listening through the Spotify playlist for 2020 release. Ethiopian Knights came on, my ears perked up and I went straight to Amazon to buy.

Just wanted to jump in here and say that its well worth seeing these guys live. I saw them last year at a tiny little venue in Soho, London and they absolutely killed it. Easily up there with the best gigs I went to last year.

I grabbed 5 haha. Already had a few in different pressings so skipped out on buying even more. I grabbed:

I absolutely love the Walter Davis record but already have a King pressing of it that I’m happy with.

Those Hank Mobleys are a no brainer. I have the John Gilmore one and believe any hard bop fan needs that press in their collection. One of his few albums outside of Sun Ra’s band and it’s a killer. Sounds amazing too.

Honestly you can’t go wrong with any of them though. The Stanley Turrentine and Horace Silver ones are fantastic too but I can only swing two of these right now. I would probably buy at least ten of them if I could though.
What's this about, I wonder? Do they regularly do sales like this?

Not even sure how the guy on reddit found it! Pretty great list of albums though and great price. Shipping wasn't even bad. I think I paid $7 shipped for 5 albums.

Once in a blue moon they do this to move out stock. I’ve seen $40 or so but not this cheap. These have probably been sitting for years and weren’t moving at $50.
