I enjoy left field dub remix albums. Between this, Steve Mason’s remix of Boys Outside from a few years ago, and Bill Callahan’s supremely weird Have Fun With God, I like the unexpected twist.

Is there a reason the reissue of this on clear is preferred over the OG? I know it’s “remastered” but was thE 1st press unlistenable for some reason?

Barring serious quality issues, I prefer to collect the 1st press. If there are OGs flooding the market, maybe I’ll snag one while I can.

Price is my reason. I don't have any desire to own original presses vs. represses. I'm in it for the music alone and I'm no audiophile so unless a repress is very bad, I'll go with the more economical option. I'd rather pay 20 for an Anodyne repress than $70+ for an OG pressing.

No shade to those who feel/collect differently.
