Funny thing, I never knew who Money Mark was but in the mid to late 2000’s I was hard into my Jack Johnson, Donavon Frankenreiter, G Love etc. chill music phase and Money Mark put out his Brand New By Tomorrow album on Brushfire Records. I just thought it was some good chill music by some Jack Johnson adjacent person but several years later I find out he played on most of the Beastie Boys albums! Still a pretty good album though. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to any solo albums besides that one though.

Kinda funny. I was in both Boy Scouts and martial arts in my not-so-distant younger years. I did indeed reach my Black Belt, but left Scouts before getting close to my Eagle Scout. This band name could've been my life story!

I was at a radio station focus group last week and of the new music they played for us this by far got the best response. Everyone loved it. Gonna wait to see if there are any more variants before I hop on.
