Funny. I've heard Jeff say, more than once, "with Nels Cline on guitar each night, I would be an idiot for not putting 'Impossible Germany' on the setlist." And he does have a point. And I will say, while I would be 100% fine if they never played it live again, I would also be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the hell out of it each and every time. Nels is a legend, and within Wilco, this song is his nightly platform to astound.
