There's a new-ish Canadian group called Anyway Gang that consists of Sam Roberts, Menno Versteeg of Hollerado, Dave Monks of Tokyo Police Club and Chris Murphy of Sloan. They have two singles so far and are kind of a mix of pop and rock. Here's a video of their first single, Big Night, the second single is called Everybody Cries.

I've said a couple of times that I admire Selena Gomez's ability to have a musical career without being able to even whisper in tune. In studio, her songs are great (thank you computers!) but her live presentations are awesomely bad.
Revival is GREAT album (@Teeeee check that one, but go for the special edition, she left some gems as bonus tracks), mainly because it's so minimalistic that her voice doesn't need to go beyond three or four notes.
And that's great, that's her style.
I'm really looking forward her new album. I hope they don't try to make her sound like something she is not.
