New Music Friday!

I still have to check out many of Friday's releases. Very solid week with many great releases.

So far, I also really like the Celeste album. Definetely some Amy Winehouse vibes, a great album with many really beautiful melodies.

Same as @gaporter said in the "Best of 2021" thread, I think the new Weezer album belongs to their stronger, better records. Some great melodies on here and I think the use of orchestration works greatly.

Arlo Parks has some good style. On my first listening session I found it a bit repetitive though. I need to listen to it more. I like how uplifting and lyrically deep, while musicially light the songs seem to be. A nice album that feels a bit like summertime.

I also enjoyed The Notwist album. While a bit hermetic, it's a great blend of indie rock with electronic influences. Worth checking out.

The Camelia Jordana album gives some nice French Pop.

Fergus McCreadle should be checked out by people, who enjoy Jazz a lot.

Of this week's releases I really like the Psychedelic Porn Crumpets album. Gives me some King Gizzard vibes. Great energetic album.

"Ignorance" by The Weather Station also is a good album, but I need to spend more time with it. Definetely worth checking out.

I was positively surprised by the Tele Novella album "Merlynn Belle". Really great melodies, wonderful album.

TV Priest reminds me a bit of Idles. If you like punk music in that style, I can recommand checking it out.
