I respect Trent's decision to cancel, but if he's waiting for a big post-covid comeback for NIN, he's going to be waiting for a while.

Sorry. I misunderstood. I thought they were upset about vaccinations being required.
They said they couldn’t do anything about their policy because their concerts are on a city and state street and not in a private business venue.

Haven't seen it posted yet...but ACL Festival has gone negative-test / vaccine only.
To get around Governor Abbott's order stating any business requiring proof of vaccine could have it's TABC liquor license suspended...the ACL Festival language basically says every attendee must have a negative test, but you can opt-out of the test by showing a vaccine card.
