Day 2 Etchings

This one is from Sleater-Kinney's "The woods". I think it looks pretty cool, it shows the rings of a tree.

It’s difficult getting a good photo of black vinyl etching.

Hard to get any good photos of etching!

Pro tip, hold it an angle, get close and use the flash.

Not sure this counts as an etching, but it's pretty cool. Holographic Millennium Falcon embedded in the album. The other LP has a Tie Fighter.

Star Wars ~ The Force Awakens Soundtrack. Spent way too long figuring out how to make a GIF so you could get the full effect.

I was trying not to recycle albums I used last month, but I don't have a lot of albums with etchings.

The National - I Am Easy to Find (except for Alicia Vikander's head on the back of this record).


I also made a donation to the NAACP Legal defense fund, but you don't have to put my name into the raffle.
