This is one of my favorite albums. While it would be disingenuous to say it quite rivals the holy trinity of 1966 (Pet Sounds, Revolver, Blonde on Blonde), it ranks very high in the next tier. Wild, gentle, baroque, down-home, aggro-urban, it's a bit of everything, and an absolute gem.
