Best Music 🎵 of 2023!

(n)(n)(n) to their number 1 pick. I like the SZA album, but it's not a 2023 album, and it's not even a number 1 of either year album. Kind of a random list overall in terms of placement, but it hits all the big ones that are on basically on the other lists. billy woods being up high is nice, but I guess I'm one of the few who prefer Armand Hammer's album this year over that one.
I have a hard time picking between them but I am a little puzzled that many lists have Maps really high and WBDTS much lower or not even on it at all. Maybe the latter was trying to avoid putting two woods albums on there? Seems strange to rate one so much lower that it doesn't even place. They are very different albums but it is surprising from my extremely biased viewpoint 😂.

Yeah this is my final list I think. I'll have to finally buy the new Tennis album on LP because I need to have all my top 10 on vinyl for my annual 'gram post.

My favourite record store in Britain. Spent a lot of money on CDs in there when I lived in Manchester…

Weirdly enough there was a time during the 2000’s when ordering from the UK was cheaper than the US and also less prone for me to get dinged with customs fees (Canada Post charged those a lot more then). Never would get dinged from the UK. So I ordered a ton from Piccadilly during those days.

Exactly yes. They are both great albums. For me Armand Hammer edges out Maps a bit, but Maps is a great album. It's maybe just slightly more accessible I guess. But I do remember how much acclaim the last Armand Hammer album got and I was expecting the same or more for this one.
