With 2022 coming to an end, it's time to turn our attention to the next 12 months and look forward to all the new music 🎵 set to be released in 2023, and hope that the new year ahead, will be as amazing as 2022!

  • Rihanna (playing the Super Bowl and most likely headlining Coachella)
  • St Vincent (teased new music on her Spotify thanks video)
  • CMAT (teased new music on her Spotify thanks video)
  • Jacob Colier (talked about Djesse Vol 4 at concerts)

No reason to think it’s coming but I want it

  • Natalie Prass (been too long, I miss her)
  • Doechii (I could see a mixtape coming but who knows with TDE)
  • Gwen Stefani (probably wouldn’t even be good but I like her singles from 2021 and would love to hear a new album)
  • Cardi B (has been on a hot streak with singles but seems to refuse to put out this album)
  • Car Seat Headrest (been a while since we got new music from them but I do know Will is sick)
  • Ashnikko (she was super quiet in 2022 which is weird for her, hope she has something big planned)

Ooo, new Nation of Language! Love those guys. Also very interested to hear where Yves Tumor goes next. I really enjoyed his last LP but I think I like the more recent EP even better. That U.S. Girls single is such a banger too. I was lukewarm on the last record after loving the previous, but this is so promising. And nothing more to say about the new Gorillaz other than I've had it on order the moment it was announced.

Totally agree on U.S. Girls. In a Poem is an all time favorite record for me, while Heavy Light was hit or miss sadly. The first single she released last year was fantastic but so was the first single off Heavy Light so I’m cautiously optimistic
