So, this has probably already been discussed, but with new copies of long sold out records on the store, did they do a repress ( or should I say, did the ADMIT that they did a repress) or did they "find some extra stock hidden in a closet"? Because I'm pretty sure the company line was no represses.

I got my copy of Josh Rouse yesterday from ROG and it was perfect. Packed in a mailer that was inside a bigger box with padding around it. Maybe they're getting better.

I dont really get why people like Bon Iver. That first album was good, but everything else has been very meh to my ears. I guess I just dont get it.

Translation: They're not selling out of stuff as quickly since they killed the forum and they're hoping flippers will make up the difference and make it appear theyre still selling out and people need their service.

So, I know everyone is all in on Go Get Your Guns, but I think the new hint would count it out...according to Storf, it's the artists 15th album, but that record is the 12th by my count.

Yeah, I got the Betty Lavette album from Amazon for like $16 on Warehouse Deals. I'm guessing ROG sends them some extra stock.

It's also weird because Fleetwood Mac sucks donkey balls.

Swing and Big Band isnt my thing either, but Atomic is an amazing record. It's one of those that I didnt expect to like, but ended up loving it.

Good call. How did I leave out Live/Dead?! Movie is definitely great, but it's a little harder to get your hands on. I was just trying to include stuff that I know is on Spotify, and I dont think that one is for some reason.

I actually really dig ITD (and I dont hate Go to Heaven or Built to Last either) but I wouldn't start a newbie out with them...except maybe Touch of Grey or Hell in a Bucket and there are way better live versions of HIAB.

American Beauty is the album that got me into the Dead. I would recommend waiting on the 80s studio albums until you've become a full blown deadhead. Really, though, live is the way to go. Most songs took on a whole new life when played live and theres really a whole discography worth of live...

Agreed. It does sound nice, but I'd wait for a better price. I got mine for like $60 as well. Totally worth that price, but I dont know about $90.

It's worth noting that a majority of that sellers 1 star reviews are by the same person.

I only have a few because they're so expensive but Cornell is amazing. I'd also recommend the Long Strange Trip soundtrack if you can find it at a decent price. There's some fire on there (I have the 6LP version). I've got Fillmore '69 and Capitol Theater '77 in order but cant comment on them...
