I splurged on 2 tickets to see Pulp at the Hollywood Forever cemetery. Financially it was a really poor decision, but holy shit I’m finally going to see PULP
Does Sleeve City do a Cyber Monday thing? Is Cyber Monday even still a thing since everyone online has had sales going all week? I’ve been holding off buying some outer sleeves, hoping for a sale.
Second Breeders show this year! Better venue. Belly just played and they were cool but I have to admit I don’t know them well. Last Splash being played n it’s entirety this time which is going to be awesome.
In a rare move last night, I took the opportunity to get a spot right up front before the headliner took stage. It paid off. Les Savy Fav really put on a show.
Michael Gira ‘Drainland’ was the wrong album to listen to before starting to get ready for work. Not like I was super excited to go in anyway, but now I really don’t want to
So James Blake, whom I’ve never seen, is playing the same night as the Breeders and Belly show that I’ve already purchased a ticket for. I saw the Breeders a few months ago, but not playing Last Splash in it’s entirety. I’m conflicted.
Covid round 2! Or is it 3? Honestly can’t remember. The owners at my work changed the sick time policy from automatically starting with a certain amount to having to accrue it this year. This means I’m going to have to dip into my little bit of vacation time for the days I’m missing this week since I used what little sick time I had already. Where did I get Covid? At work. I love my job.
My neighbors have been kind enough to have parties the last 3 nights playing loud ass music well past 3am. Looks like they are trying to relax today. Heard 2 of them mention something about a hangover. Sucks for them because it’s time to listen to Alec Empire/Atari Teenage Riot at an extremely rude volume. From now until ???
