Hey so Night & Day Café is a Mancunian Music Institution. It’s been the first rung on the ladder for many bands for so long.
They’ve been served with a noise abatement order which could potentially cause them to close. The gentrification of the Northern Quarter has led to an increase in apartments moving in and some local owners have complained enough to get it to this point.
I wonder what happened to PJ Harvey’s reissue series? It just seemed to stop 2 albums short from the finish line, one of which is a true classic! -
