I agree 100%. I've brought the VMP Shape of... album as a gift a couple of times and listened once to make sure i dont send a bum copy and the pressing is consistently the highest quality pressing I've seen from them. Great sound and background is like CD quiet.

The MOV is flat as a pancake and has zero noise that's not from the samples. Madlib now mainly produces on an iPad (don't know what he was using back then) but probably digital so no big deal about AAA. I usually end up sending 50% of BNC back for pressing flaws lately, so there's that.

I think the ATLiens deluxe with the instrumentals that came out a year ago is as good as anything out there and I've seen it under $50 for the set and I dig the instrumentals. I'm also one of the only that seems to not love the VMP Labcabincalifornia better than the Craft version.

For one it's not warped. It definitely sounds better, a quiet pressing that knocks.
