We've just had a big update at KGLW.net !
We now have setlist statistics and user accounts, so you can leave reviews on shows and track stats of shows that you have seen. But if you were familiar with us before, really the entire site has been revamped.
Found myself in the opportunity to interview the professor who taught Stu, Joey, Eric, and Lucas at uni. He's a great guy and very knowledgeable about the Australian music scene, with lots of insight into the band:

I teased this to you guys in here a while ago, but we're finally live with our first full version:

I've joined the team behind it by donating my Gizzverse Guide into the project:

And I'm generally handling a bunch of written content...
Not saying don't share it to fans, but people go as far as using bots to scour for resale codes, openly posting them where anyone can read it only makes it easier for scalpers.
Haha, at the moment I don't have enough Flightless albums that I don't know what they are by how loosely they are scattered through the shelves. But what I have also done is cut a little section out of the edge over the title of the album on the spine which works well.
So Flightless Records package their releases in paper outer sleeves and it's got me wondering about more environmentally responsible sleeves in general. Since they don't offer them for generic sale in bulk, does anyone know another source for paper outer sleeves?
I dislike paper inners as much...
Extremely pleased with Changes. Hate Dancin' was the perfect single in hindsight, it seemed very inconsequential at the time but set an expectation for the soundscape of the album, which is otherwise packed full of great moments and little twists. Astroturf has a sick Jazz Flute solo and is all...
I don't think Ye was trying to intimidate him in that clip, it sounded more like he thought the guy looked and sounded like the porn actor and was way too intent on showing them when no one else cared. There wasn't even any sex in the clip, it was intro dialogue.
I just did. If you're familiar with PHC and John's style its great, probably a little boring for the casual fan though. First section is cut-up interviews of all the band members and footage of them building their studio with snippets of changes as the soundtrack, and it ends on a live demo...
Seems to be common for her, I've seen lots of comments recently about people tending to talk loudly over her set, which for obvious reasons is always going to be very quiet.
I saw her at Gizzfest 2017, which was fine being her own show, but about halfway through her set an overdriven doom guitar...
A little taken aback at how simple it is, but I enjoy it. Nice contrast to all the jammy stuff this year so far, I feel like I can instantly remember this whole song after two listens while I'm still piecing together different moments from the last two albums.
Ice, Death, Planets, Lungs, Mushroom And Lava is great a couple of listens in. Feels like a few albums ago since I didn't prefer the singles which is refreshing, very consistent quality throughout.
