Well It cost $60 dollars extra per record to have RKS master theirs though.

GTFO of here with that insane up charge. Colored wax is not worth paying double. Maybe $5 extra, anything more is too much and twice as much is absurd. I am sure it will sell out because it’s “Limited” though

How much joy do people get from colored vinyl? I have plenty and it’s fine but seriously I don’t sit there and stare at my record while it spins. I am much more excited by the music than the color and I bet if most people are in the same boat. They gotta give me something more if they want me to pay double.
I'll wait a few months and swap for it.

And as usual there's always some VMP simp on reddit actually trying to justify that cost.
I mean either way it's crazy high but MAYBE they're the only ones with RKS doing the pressing? That's the only thing I can think of.

I dunno man, it would be a pretty cool experience to open this set with that nifty VMP knife they sold a while back. I personally would wear my VMP poncho to stop the blood splatter getting on my VMP shirt.

VMP is the only pressing that's remastered by RKS (ATCQ will also have copies they'll sell at, I assume, MSRP)

Still, I wouldn’t be willing to even consider buying it until I had consensus that this pressing was an Audiophile pressing. Maybe the standard pressing is cut by Chris Bellman or Kevin Grey, who knows? VMP can be an audiophile label but they are not exclusively an audiophile label.
TBH, They should consider creating an audiophile series (and then follow through by delivering a consistent audiophile product) because am not sure why anyone would want to pay double for this.
For roughly the same price I can have 2 (maybe 3 if I am lucky) Tone Poet records, AAA, mastered by KG, pressed at RTI, glossy gatefold jacket...
How one wants to spend his money is on him/her but I see a lot of better ways to spend $75/90.
